At Lothian Oval Racing Club, we are dedicated to providing the ultimate experience for every driver that walks through our doors and joins us.
LORC was born in October 2024 when there was a demand for model car oval racing in and around the Edinburgh & Lothians. With all tracks in the Lothians only offering circuit, there was nowhere for the oval racers to race so it was time to bring it back!
We get together on a Monday night (and the last Tuesday of the month) to race 12th scale model Mardaves for F1, F2, 1300 Saloons & Bangers to replicate the real-life stock cars at our race track
We found a home at Douglas Hall, which is on the estate of Dalmahoy Hotel which is situated off the A71 just outside of Edinburgh, near Kirknewton for the best car racing in Scotland!
